Is Roofing Considered The Hardest Construction Job?

I guess in order to answer the question of this post’s title, we need to define what is meant by the hardest. I mean the hardest on someones physical health. If you are wondering what has sparked the interest inside of me to write this post? I found a forum on a mature dating site that three construction workers were trying to argue their case for the hardest physical construction job. Not sure why they were arguing on a dating site, but maybe they were trying to attract a female by showing how dangerous their professions were.

Roofer Takes Home The Trophy In My Book

The three construction workers were a plumber, roofer, and electrician. There were arguments that supported all, but I think the roofer takes the trophy home. Yes I might be a little bias because I am writing for a roofing site, but come on it is obvious. I worked as a roofer for two years, and I lost so much weight. I could eat anything I wanted because I knew my body would need it from the calorie burn I had each day due to roofing.

Mother Nature and Father Time Are Not So Kind To Roofers!

Ever laid a roof in Arizona? How about in Wyoming during the winter? Mother Nature is not so kind to the roofer! Mother Nature is not the only thing roofers have to worry about. Father Time is out to get them also, because it is only a matter of time before they fall off the roof. Hopefully they are wearing the proper safety gear if this happens. Did I mention that roofers have to carry their tools and gear with them on the roof up a ladder at the beginning and end of their day. A plumber or an electrician get to work indoors and keep their tools on the ground for the most part!

Have I proved my point? I think I have. Roofing is by far the hardest construction job on the human body!
